There's a field on the northern side of Mars
They call it Red Utopia

Years ago they sat with their rulers and lines
naming all the planets and the stars
There's a field on the northern side of Mars

Nations divided between colours and flags
with their satellites and posters and fear
and a nation tried to build up some equality here
They called it Red Utopia

As technology advanced and our spills became stains
and the human race was running out of floors
in the heavens they set up a solution to the war
They called it Red Utopia
Red Utopia

Governments, they sent off their chosen few
to populate their colony of stars
but the transmission was lost, they don't know where they are
are they dying, are they thriving, are they living on
Their Red Utopia?
